Nature in Art:

Art of Nature

David and Michaela were professional artists living on the beautiful island of Crete in the Mediterranean. Since Michaela moved to Crete she and David have become close friends and worked together in many aspects of art. Their love of the wildlife, culture, landscapes, seascapes and people of Crete have inspired much of their work. The title of this page became their theme - Michaela using Natural items (e.g. shells, sand, feathers) in her beautiful collages: David using Nature and its people as inspiration for his paintings. Michaela remains on Crete but David has moved to Scotland to work among and with wild red squirrels, ospreys and other aspects of Nature.

David is pleased to welcome another artist to this site. Nikki is David's daughter and provides a lot of work in pen and pencil. You can see some of her work under her gallery and you can buy originals, prints, mugs, phone cases. You will probably notice that she has also a great love of Nature and that provides the influence for her art.
