David and Michaela are professional artists (David now retired) living on the beautiful island of Crete in the Mediterranean. Since Michaela moved to Crete she and David have become close friends and work together in many aspects of art. Their love of the wildlife, culture, landscapes, seascapes and people of Crete have inspired much of their work. The title of this page has become their theme - Michaela using Natural items (e.g. shells, sand, feathers) in her beautiful collages: David using Nature and its people as inspiration for his paintings.

Michaela moved to Crete in 2009 and has become renowned for her unique mosaics and collages which are popular with both tourists and locals.

David has been living on Crete since 2005 and is a tutor and demonstrator of art and a well known artist in Western Crete. He holds regular art groups and has a gallery of his paintings.

Michaela and David usually held several joint exhibitions during the year at several locations in Crete. Please see the News or Exhibition pages

David provides regular (weekly) art, drawing and painting tuition at Siga Siga, Plaka on Sundays. See the tuition page for further details.
